Natural poses for your headshot photo session

Headshots don’t have to be limited to just one pose

If you’re wanting a traditional headshot from mid-chest up, I can definitely do that for you. There are businesses that simply want a classic headshot and that’s totally okay!

BUT, if you want to make the most of your 30 minute headshot session and walk away with a variety of images for multiple uses then I am the right photographer for you! Whether you’re a therapist, a photographer, a graphic designer, a realtor, etc you will need to market yourself in a multitude of ways to several audiences.

Below I show you a half hour headshot with two outfit changes and two different backdrops. Not one photo is the same and Haylee can use these images for a variety of content this year and next!

Variety of seating, backdrops, and poses

For Haylee’s photo session, we used 3 different seats: a stool, a box, and a chair.

For an added angle, I pulled in a white table that does an incredible job of reflecting light while also giving my client something to touch and interact with.

We matched up her outfits with the backdrops based on where she wanted to use these images as well as the vibe and mood she was going for.

Then came the poses! Haylee trusted me to find the poses that worked best for her and her style and we came up with so many options - Folding her hands, leaning to the side, touching her face, putting her hands in her pockets, moving, walking, laughing, and sitting on the back of a chair. She looked amazing!
